On October 24, 2022, Samuel showed me a picture of a performing stool guitar stand, which deeply shocked me.
This is the most suitable acoustic guitar performing stool I have seen. Its beautiful curves and exquisite craftsmanship have given me great inspiration. When I was excited to place an order, I found this stool at 2900 $USD, which is difficult for me to afford.
I also think this stool height may be too high for my height of 173cm (5'8"), and my butt is relatively large, which may not be suitable for me, so I want to modify the design to be more customized for myself.

The first thing I considered was adjusting the distance between the footrest and the stool surface, directly affecting whether the guitar can rest stably on my lap when I play. I want my thighs to be nearly parallel to the ground.

Secondly, when I play the guitar, I want the feeling of swinging when I play the guitart, which will only increase the resistance to my swinging. The butt indent on the stool surface is not deep enough for my big butt, so I need to find the most comfortable butt profile.

On September 23, 2022, I went to a furniture store to find inspiration and found a very comfortable 40cm high stool.
I brought it back to my studio to study its design carefully. The footrest was 30cm away from the stool. When I sat holding the guitar with my right foot on it, the thigh angle was too upright. My thighs were tight in this position, and I got tired after standing for a while, wanting to put my foot down and step directly on the ground.
Therefore, the ideal height of the footrest from the stool should be 30-40cm so I will try 36cm for the first version.

Version 1.0 was born.

When looking for inspiration, I saw a leather bag added to a bedside table, which could hold sheet music, capos, tuners, and even lemon oil for guitar maintenance. So, version 1.0 was born.

1.0 version it seems there is a mixture of the above three elements.

It is indeed too ugly now. I don't even dare to hand it over to the foundry to make samples and urgently modify the details. So I immediately browsed products related to stools and looked for inspiration.
