What do you sit on when you play guitar for hours?

Built by a guitarist who got tired of ba — and designed one that finally worked.

The Birth of Guitar Master Stool

Version 1.0:
No backrest. No padding. No gimmicks.

Flat stools gave me lower back tension.

Version 2.0:
Enhanced Design

Focused on finding the best production and sample iterations.

Perfecting the Footrest Height

Iterating the Design

Through extensive testing, we found that the ideal footrest height for guitarists is 13 inches from the seat. This specific height keeps your thighs level with the ground, providing a stable position for your guitar. It also allows your legs to relax—no more slipping guitars or strained muscles.

At NAMM Show 2024, Jimmy, the Frets Editor at Guitar Player, tested guitars at the KLO booth next to ours while sitting on our stool for nearly 50 minutes. Afterward, our colleague Samuel approached him:

Samuel: “How about the guitar stool feeling?”

Jimmy: “Oh, I didn’t even notice it!”

Samuel: “Exactly, because it’s right!”

Version 3.0:
Beauty Meets Utility

✔️ CNC-carved ergonomic seat

✔️ Footrest tuned to relieve leg fatigue

✔️ Angled legs inspired by the golden ratio

On Feb. 25th, 2023, after the Chinese New Year, I invited friends over to test out the 2.0 chair.
Thanks to my friend's suggested tweaks, like moving the footrest forward 1.5 cm, it was even more comfortable.

Seeking Perfection

I've been pondering what shape my stool legs should be.
During a bike ride, I saw a tree with a trunk that gradually tapered as it grew upward, inspiring me.

 Heritage Craftsmanship

On April 6th 2023, we switched to this 3rd factory, located in Chengdu, Using the same production drawings, product accuracy is now very close to the original designs.

Seeking the Right Build

Due to costs, we moved from Chengdu to Guangdong on June 1, 2023.
This 4th factory's sample still doesn't match my design especially the Stool leg.

V4.0:
Keep going on the protection

We customized instrument-friendly protective material on the pegs to prevent damage to your guitar, and we confirmed this with suppliers on April 1, 2024.

Protective NBR Foam

Instrument-friendly NBR foam prevents guitar damage and is safe for nitrocellulose lacquer.

Add a 1.4” radius cut into the seat

A 1.4” radius cut, 0.75” deep, with anti-collision acrylic bumper strips, improves the guitar’s stability.

Acrylic Bumper Strips with PET Film

Extra anti-collision strips are provided for contact points like the stool leg to ensure full guitar protection.

V5.0:
Small Strap, Huge Safety!
